Annual Capacity Building Plan of DoT

DoT is among one of the leading departments who has finalize the ACBP in 2023.
ACBP is a document which entails Specific, and Time-bound capacity building interventions of the department and ensure that capacity building exercise should be goal-driven and performance oriented.
Under the ambit of Mission Karmayogi, Annual Capacity Building Plan (ACBP) of DoT was prepared and implemented w.e.f April 2023.

Dear Applicant,

This is to inform that the acceptance of new applications under Indian Telegraph Act 1885 has been stopped for all kind of Unified Licenses, Unified Licenses (VNO), Standalone Licenses, Registrations, Permissions. Accordingly, the Saral Sanchar Portal and National Single Window System (NSWS) will not accept any new applications for the same.

All applicants who wish to i) obtain any of the above authorisations/ registrations under The Telecommunication Act, 2023, or; ii) migrate the existing licenses/ authorisation granted under Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 to the corresponding authorisations under The Telecommunication Act, 2023 may login to https://eservices.dot.gov.in/authorisation-portal from 25.06.2026 onwards.

This is to inform that the acceptance of all applications including renewals under Indian Telegraph Act 1885 has been stopped for Dealer Possession License (DPL)/ Non-Dealer Possession License (NDPL) and Manufacturing Licence & Testing License. Accordingly, the Saral Sanchar Portal and National Single Window System (NSWS) will not accept any new applications for the same from 03.07.2026 onwards
