This application is for the grant of frequency assignment for DTH. The license is for owning and operating a DTH network for Direct to Home broadcasting for satellite-based broadcasting.

Direct-to-Home (DTH) broadcasting is a satellite-based television distribution system that delivers digital TV signals directly to subscribers via satellite transponders and dish antennas. In India, DTH operators require multiple regulatory approvals, including a Wireless Planning & Coordination (WPC) license for spectrum allocation and satellite communication.

Upload the signed application on saral sanchar portal alongwith all the required documents.

Application Scrutiny by WPC Wing
4
Payment of applicable fees and download the decision letter and proceed with equipment procurement and SACFA clearance

Download the license after completion of step-4
