This application is for the grant of a WPC license for owning and operating FM, Terrestrial Sound Broadcast or Terrestrial Video Broadcast Networks.Applicable if one wants to own and operate a terrestrial broadcast network for FM/CRS in Short or Medium Wave.

Details of Service

Terrestrial broadcasting refers to the transmission of radio signals over the airwaves using different frequency bands for FM (Frequency Modulation), CRS (Community Radio Station), SW (Shortwave), and MW (Medium Wave) broadcasting. These systems are regulated by WPC WIng to ensure proper spectrum utilization and prevent interference.

Submit application saral sanchar portal

Upload the signed application on saral sanchar portal alongwith all the required documents.

Application Scrutiny by WPC Wing
4
Payment of applicable fees and download the decision letter and proceed with equipment procurement and SACFA clearance
5
Download the license after completion of step-4
