A ‘charge’ levied by network operators on other service providers to recover the costs of the interconnection facilities (including the hardware and software for routing, signaling, and other basic service functions) provided by the network operators

means a telecommunication service provided using IXP;
or “ILL” means any dedicated link, on wireline or wireless media, from a port on Internet node to user premises and having un-contended capacity;
or “IoT” means M2M communications over the internet;
is a type of telecommunication service accessing the internet;
means transfer of message(s) including voice signal(s) through internet and internet telephony network shall be construed accordingly;
means the telecommunication traffic originating and terminating within boundaries of the same Telecom Circle or Metro service area;
Infrastructure provider category- II - An IP-II license can lease / rent out /sell end to end bandwidth i.e. digital transmission capacity capable to carry a message. Issuance of IP-II License has been discontinued w.e.f. 14.12.05
