To assist users, it has a dedicated 8x6 (Monday to Saturday) customer services call centre (from 10 AM – 6 PM), which supports ROW applicants and other stakeholders through a number (0755-2700802) and email (support@sugamsanchar.gov.in)
Permission letter will be provided by respective Department as per the ownership of street furniture.
5G Small Cells operate on higher frequency spectrum bands in the \\r\\n Range of FR1 band (sub 6 GHz) and FR2 band (mm Wave) that necessitate \\r\\n denser network deployments to support larger traffic volumes per unit area. \\r\\n The number of 5G small cells will therefore be huge in number as compared to the previous generation of 4G base station towers.
The emphasis of Aerial Cable deployment in access Network is \r\n required in 5G . Pulling underground fibre to every cell site is practically \r\n not feasible due to cost, time, and logistical challenges. Aerial cable is \r\n typically, faster, and less expensive to deploy than digging, Environment \r\n challenges like lack of an underground telecom duct network.

5G small cells have limited coverage of tens/hundreds of meters and \r\n are mostly marked by short ranges and may however vary significantly \r\n depending on their use cases. Considering the need for densification of the \r\n network, these small cells will be deployed on various types of streets \r\n furniture such as poles, streetlights, traffic lights, bus stop shelter, \r\n advertisement hoardings, billboards, etc
- Compensation charges for usages of street furniture for installation of small cell is Rs 300 /annum for urban & Rs 150/annum for rural
Pole” means any above-ground contrivance of height not exceeding \r\n eight meters for carrying, suspending, or supporting a telegraph and does not \r\n include mobile tower.
